Awarded Again: PRS Green Label for rose plastic AG

Good news: rose plastic AG has once again been honored by PRS (Eindhoven, Netherlands) with the PRS Green Label.

The idea behind it is simple but powerful — keep pallets in circulation instead of discarding them after a single use. PRS collects used pallets, refurbishes them, and returns them to where they’re needed. This conserves resources and makes transport more efficient.

Below are the label standards:

The PRS Green Label has three tiers. The tiers are based on the number of trees preserved through pallet returns:

  • 1 star: 1–250 trees
  • 2 stars: 251–1,000 trees
  • 3 stars: more than 1,000 trees

A prerequisite for the label is a return rate of at least 65%.

Our contribution from May 2024–May 2025

This year, we returned 202 pallets to the cycle—equivalent to 29 trees preserved. For this result, we received the PRS Green Label (1 star).

Choosing reuse over disposal means less waste and lower CO₂ emissions along the supply chain. At the same time, pallets remain reliably available because they can be used repeatedly. The wood for the pallets comes from sustainable sources—another plus for the environment.

The resource-efficient reuse of PRS pallets is a concrete, measurable step toward sustainability—and we’re committed to continuing this path.
