Achieving ninth place out of 63 participating teams – with around 1,400 trainees taking part across Germany – is a fantastic accomplishment that clearly reflects the skill and commitment of our talented young colleagues.
Over several weeks, the team prepared thoroughly for the competition – supported by our colleague Ulrich Steib, whose experience in occupational safety played a key role in their success.
In the first round, all participants completed a challenging multiple-choice test. The second round featured a group challenge with 71 complex questions on workplace safety – a true test of technical knowledge, concentration, and team spirit. And it was precisely that team spirit that helped our Young Team confidently secure a spot in the top 10. Even though they narrowly missed out on qualifying for the final in Willingen, this result is a great success in itself.
And as if that weren’t reason enough to celebrate...
In the accompanying poster competition, “Safety on All Routes,” the Young Team’s self-designed entry wowed the expert jury of workplace safety, traffic safety, and design specialists – earning them first place out of nearly 80 submissions!
The reward? A brand-new foosball table for our company – and we’re excited to see where it ends up.
Our sincere congratulations to the Young Team on this remarkable performance – we look forward to many more shared successes!
