Two apprentices of rose plastic are among the best apprentices in the Allgäu this year: Lucca Mohr and Felix Mahl have been awarded by the Swabian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) for their particularly good performance.

Normally, the graduates receive their certificate in the „Bigbox” in Kempten. Not this year. Because of the Corona pandemic, the award ceremony of the IHK of Swabia had to be cancelled. Therefore, it was Thiemo Rösler who presented the two former apprentices Felix Mahl and Lucca Mohr with their certificates. The CEO of the Hergensweiler company praised the very good performance of the two young men. He was pleased that they had decided to stay with rose plastic even after completing their training. As a special reward, the two apprentices can look forward to two days of special leave each.

Felix Mahl brought a one-week school internship to rose plastic. At that time, he was able to "get a taste" of two departments, tool construction and IT. In the end, he decided to train as an IT specialist. For Lucca Mohr, on the other hand, the direction was already clear. Training as a toolmaker was exactly the right choice, says Mohr. Several criteria played a role in the choice of the training company, he says. "rose plastic has a good reputation when it comes to training, and I also already knew some of the people who work there," he recalls.

rose plastic is currently training 15 young people in the commercial, technical and industrial sectors. Three of them are studying at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW).

Around 3.000 trainees from the Allgäu region took their final exams at the Swabian Chamber of Industry and Commerce in the 2020/2021 examination year. From this group, 119 are among "Allgäu's best apprentices“.
