Information on Vocational Training for students

The pupils from Heinrich Briegger School as a guest at rose plastic.

As part of the „Job Orientation Campaign Allgäu“, eight students of the Heinrich-Brügger-School at Wangen and their teacher visited rose plastic AG. The visit aimed at giving the students practical information on the vocational training opportunities of the Hergensweiler Company.

Goal of the „Job Orientation Campaign Allgäu“ is to provide students who attend the 08th grade (or higher) at a German school with an insight into the working world. After welcoming words from Lea Rothenhäusler – training manager at rose plastic – the students learned everything worth knowing about the company, its history and the various vocational trainings offered. During the following plant tour that was organized by rose plastic’s current apprentices, there was a lot to see and learn. The students witnessed how resin is turned into plastic packaging. Furthermore, students had the chance to talk to the rose apprentices and inform themselves about the offered vocational trainings.

The Heinrich-Brügger-School is linked to the specialist clinic at Wangen. Patients of the clinic join the school and attend classes in their respective course of education: primary school, secondary modern school, grammar school, vocational school and special school.
