Our partner school receives the Wilhelm-Hübsch-Award of the IHK Schwaben

rose plastic won the Wilhelm Huebsch Award 2018.

The Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) Schwaben has been arranging partnerships between companies and schools for around four years. 16 school partnerships have now been established in the district of Lindau. Our company is also participating in this project: Since October 2015 we have maintained a very successful partnership with the secondary school in the border triangle in Lindau.

As one of three schools in the Lindau region, it has now been awarded the Wilhelm-Hübsch-Award of the Swabian Chamber of Industry and Commerce and received 4,000 euros in prize money for first place. Criteria for awarding the prize included the duration and intensity of the school partnership and innovative measures.

The aim of the school partnerships is, on the one hand, to recruit skilled workers for the companies. On the other hand, the pupils should be informed as early as possible about the diverse training opportunities and further education in the partner companies.

There is an intensive cooperation between rose plastic and the Lindau partner school. These include, for example, visits to chemistry classes to show students how plastics are processed. Furthermore, the young people benefit from application training and internships or company visits in our company.

After the successful start of the school partnership with the school in Lindau, the second alliance followed less than a year later. Since summer 2016 we are also in an educational partnership with the Andreas-Rauch-Realschule in Wangen.
