In 2026, rose plastic was assessed by EcoVadis for the first time and received the EcoVadis Committed badge. This assessment provides a reliable external view of our sustainability performance and shows that we have established effective structures and measures in key areas. At the same time, it makes clear that sustainable development is an ongoing process, and that there is still work to be done.
Therefore, we view this achievement not as an endpoint, but as a starting point. We will use the insights from the rating to develop our activities in the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement, and to continue improving our sustainability performance.

Participation in the Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact (Umwelt- und Klimapakt Bayern) demonstrates our voluntary commitment to environmental protection and climate action — through specific measures and measurable improvements in our daily operations that go beyond the legal requirements.
The current Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact brings together the Bavarian State Government and its partners to develop solutions for major ecological and sustainability challenges, helping advance environmental and climate protection in companies and businesses.
The Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact is open to all companies and businesses in Bavaria, regardless of their size. To participate, companies must implement environmental protection measures in their operations that go above and beyond current legal requirements.
A key strength of the Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact lies in its participating companies and businesses. Some implement environmental protection measures tailored specifically to their own sector and present them on a dedicated online platform as examples others can follow. Over 700 joint projects have been completed over the 25 years of the Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact.

By participating in PRS pallet pooling, we help to conserve resources, reduce waste, and make transport processes more efficient.
The PRS Green Label is an award for companies in the European polymer industry that actively participate in the sustainable pooling system for CP pallets operated by PRS Pooling. It recognizes their commitment to reducing CO₂ emissions, avoiding waste, and promoting a closed-loop economy through the reuse of wooden pallets.
Key features of the PRS Green Label program:
- Closed-loop economy: Participants use CP pallets that are repaired and reused after use rather than being disposed of.
- Sustainability: The pallets come from certified sources (PEFC or FSC).
- Network: The program includes manufacturers, plastics processors, distributors, and logistics providers, all of whom ensure the pallets are returned.
- Certification: The Green Label Certificate of Appreciation is awarded by PRS for high return rates.
This label demonstrates environmentally friendly logistics practices and helps program partners reduce the carbon footprint of their supply chains. Reusing PRS pallets in a sustainable and resource-saving manner is yet another way in which we can make a valuable contribution to environmental protection. It is a worthwhile system in which we are very happy to participate.
