The first training day at rose plastic. Usually, this is the best opportunity for the new apprentices to get to know each other, to exchange ideas and to, generally, put their heads together. Due to the Corona Pandemic and the corresponding stipulations, however, this year everything is a little bit different from the usual. “Keep your distance” is the motto - and this applies to the first meeting in the large conference room as well as to the following photo session. In addition, the obligatory plant tour through the production halls and the administration buildings that the “old” apprentices organize for their new colleagues turned out differently than before Covid-19. “It has been a big challenge for us achieve a welcome for our apprentices that is as cordial and personal as in the previous years”, Lea Rothenhäusler, training manager at rose plastic, mentions.
The apprentices that will pick up their training at rose plastic this year will be qualified in the following occupations: Industrial Business Management Specialist, Tool Mechanic, Technical Product Designer and Digitalization Management Specialist. Furthermore, one student has picked up a dual training to achieve a BA degree in business administration with a focus on industrial applications. The university degree is a link between the practical work in the company and the academic education at the university of cooperative education Baden-Wuerttemberg.
